First Class Postcard

Do not exceed 4-1/4 x 6. Any larger takes the piece into letter category. Minimum thickness is .007 inches (if no more than 4-1/4" high and 6" long); .009 inch (if more than 4-1/4" high or 6" long or both). Maximum thickness .016 inch.

Postcards mail First-Class as do letters. But postcards cost only 23¢ or less, vs. 37¢ for letters (Single Piece Rate). Use them for reminders, announcements or any quick message that can be conveyed in a small amount of space.

A double postcard (two attached postcards) also qualifies for the postcard rate, as long as one of the cards is a mail-back reply device for your recipient.
