Inkjet Addressing & Barcoding:

ASI's high speed addressing machines are designed to address and barcode on individual mail pieces, with excellent quality. The machine sprays the address block onto the mail piece directly therefore your company avoids costly labels and prints at speeds up to 25,000/hour, so it greatly reduces the cost of addressing. These machines can also print indicias, simple clip art, constant text and variable text to every mail piece. We have the ability to print from post cards to self mailers to envelopes to catalogs and on various stocks from glossy to uncoated to aqueous. These are truly machines of variety and quality in the addressing process.

Wafer Sealing / Tabbing:

ASI is set up with automatic tab affixers. This process involves the application of wafer seals/tabs to self mailers. The most common wafer seals are white, transparent white, clear or perforated. Other sizes and colors are available. When mailing a letter-size self-mailer or booklet (mail not in an envelope) postal regulations require either one or two tabs depending on folds and sizes. Machine Inserting:

Our high speed, large capacity automated insertion machines are built to accommodate a vast number of materials of various sizes. These machines can accommodate up to 8 separate folded sheets, cards, brochures, etc., collate the inserts, open the envelope flap, insert contents into envelope, moisten the flap, and seal. The mail piece is now ready for the mail stream. To ensure accurate content, our advanced machines are electronically set-up to stop production if even one envelope is missed or an envelope has a duplicate insert. CASS (Coding Accuracy Support System):

A service included in any lettershop procedure being automated (barcoded) for postage discounts. This is a required process for any mailing project claiming postage discounts. The process improves the accuracy of delivery point codes, zip+4 codes, and carrier route information on the mail pieces. The CASS process also standardizes the delivery address, city, state, and zip, to postal requirements such as shorting "street" to "ST", removing all punctuation, and also completes other processes to make the mail move more freely through the mail stream.

Duplicate Removal:

Do you have mailing lists that have been merged and may have duplicate records? It can be very costly to mail two or more mail pieces to the same individual, considering the mail pieces cost plus the additional postage. ASI offers a duplicate removal service at a reasonable charge for a mailing list. Feel free to ask for more details on cost and how the process works.
